Indonesian Massage
a form of Deep Tissue Massage

Is Indonesian massage right for me?

Indonesian massage is a form of deep tissue massage that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. Highly relaxing and de-stressing, Indonesian massage releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through the application of deep pressure on contracted areas.

An ancient technique that follows the course of Chinese meridians or energy lines in the body, Indonesian massage releases toxins and encourages blood and oxygen to circulate optimally around the body.

It is excellent for sports injuries and relieves pain, particularly in the back and shoulder areas.

Feel free to state your preference for pressure during the massage. Pressure can range from light to firm. Also, let your massage therapist know if you have areas of specific muscle tension you’d like him or her to work on.

Because lots of toxins are released during an Indonesian Massage, it's important to drink plenty of water after your session to help eliminate these toxins from the body.

It is common to experience some soreness during or immediately after an Indonesian massage. However, within a day or two you should feel the benefits.
